Rather than doubling down on the Sunset Strip swagger that first put them on the map, The Bites broadens the band's perspective. The songs still deliver the hooks, riffs, and attitude that made their debut so much fun, but they also venture into more personal territory. Blues, pop, acoustic textures, and modern rock influences all find a place here, giving the album a wider emotional range without sacrificing its punch.
Lead single "Aftertaste" captures that evolution perfectly.
