With their electrifying mix of garage rock rhythms, arena-sized choruses, retro flair, and a firm commitment to turning each song into an irresistible party, the Bites unveil their debut album, Squeeze.

The Bites are fully aware that the world was forced to stop having fun not too long ago, and now they feel it’s their duty… their destiny… to bring it back. And they’re primed to do just that considering they cut their chops in the very nucleus of the world's dreams and desires, the saint and sinner capital of the world, Hollywood, CA. The Bites are here and they’re ready to revive the glamourous grit of America's City of devilish Angels.

With every note they play, with every singalong chorus they shout, the Bites come closer and closer to answering the prayers of everyone that wishes the glory days of the '80s never ended. One minute you’re singing along to “Knockin’ On The Door” and being reminded of how great the Babys were in their heyday, and the next you’re rocking out to “Squeeze” and remembering when Aerosmith was all youthful energy and swagger. But that belongs to the Bites now. And this ain’t no tired retro trip, this is the sound of a band with the balls to get it started all over again.

Whether they’re sharing a stage with the Struts or in the the crowd for a Greta Van Fleet show - or digging through their endless classic vinyl collection - the Bites are in that sweet spot of being fully inspired by rock music's pioneers while at the same time being finely tuned to what’s happening in the current moment. And that’s what this music has always been about… living for the moment.

At the end of the day (or at the end of the bar), timeless music is what the band drags kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. With lyrics that aren't weighed down by a world burdened with bad times, they offer a rock n’ roll escape for free spirits everywhere, no matter what trials and challenges they're facing in their day to day lives. It's straight-up rock and roll that feels good at any time, in any place, in any decade.

“We built this band on authenticity. Everything we do, from the songs, to the stage, to the way we dress, is just genuinely who we are and how we operate. We don't have to try or go out of our way to be rock and roll, we just do what we do and the end result is vicious,” Chicago native and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Tyler testifies.

With a tightly locked longtime friendship at the core of the band - founders Tyler and drummer Mark Hylander met in Boston and became fast friends – the Bites' music is rooted in the adventures of these two rock and roll outlaws and their passion for bringing awe-inspiring rock shows back to the LA scene and beyond. Joined by guitarists Dustin Coon and Jono Richer, Squeeze is an album that storms out of a post-pandemic world into a new world they're determined to be the soundtrack for.
