Greta Van Fleet return with Palace For The People, a 13-song album that brings the Michigan rock band back together after three years of touring, time apart and a chance to rediscover what happens when the four of them simply get in a room and make music.

Josh, Jake and Sam Kiszka and drummer Danny Wagner recorded the album in Tennessee during the spring of 2026, co-producing with Mike Elizondo, whose wide-ranging credits include Turnstile, Fiona Apple and Eminem. With touring and other obligations deliberately cleared from the calendar, the band dug through unfinished demos and partially written songs while creating plenty of new material from scratch.

The idea behind Palace For The People dates back to Greta Van Fleet's 2022 show at London's Alexandra Palace. The band learned that the Victorian venue was originally conceived as a "Palace of the People," a grand public gathering place where ordinary people could come together. Years later, that idea took on a new meaning as the band considered the friendships and communities that have grown around their music. As Sam Kiszka puts it, "the music is our palace."

That sense of connection runs through an album that remains firmly rooted in the big, expansive rock that has carried Greta Van Fleet from Michigan clubs to arenas around the world. "Play Your Games," "Saw You Stand" and "Tear It Down" show different sides of the record, from straight-ahead rock muscle to the sweeping balladry that has become another important part of the band's sound.

Palace For The People opens with "Into The Beginning" and closes 13 tracks later with "Born Into This," with songs including "Heart And The Beat," "Field Of Stars," "Dreams You Hold," "Lost In The Golden" and "Touch Again" filling out the journey. Three years after Starcatcher, Greta Van Fleet sound ready to open the doors to their palace and invite everybody inside.
