Co-produced with Gorillaz's Remi Kabaka Jr., Where’s My Utopia? is Yard Act's follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, The Overload.

Leeds-based quartet Yard Act are back with the eagerly anticipated album, Where’s My Utopia?, which they co-produced with Remi Kabaka Jr. of Gorillaz fame. Penned amidst the whirlwind of touring, the album signifies a significant artistic leap for the band, incorporating an array of influences and pushing creative boundaries. From the inclusion of strings and choirs to voice-acting clips featuring comedic talents such as Nish Kumar and Rose Matafeo, the album is a lush and immersive experience.

Fans both old and new will find the album to be more dance-rock inspired than the post-punk sound of The Overload. On the evolution of their sound and the thematic depth of Where’s My Utopia?, the band's James Smith stated, "I found myself scrutinizing and poking fun at my own tendencies to be a whiny, ungrateful little brat, all while addressing the music industry as this uncontrollable behemoth hurtling forward with no thought, where everyone, myself included, plays their role." The lead single, "Dream Job," encapsulates these sentiments with its sardonically upbeat vibe and thought-provoking lyrics.

Since their meteoric rise with their debut album, Yard Act has emerged as a beacon of innovation. Led by frontman and vocalist James Smith, alongside bassist Ryan Needham, guitarist Sam Shjipstone, and drummer Jay Russell, the quartet has garnered widespread acclaim for their distinct sound and mesmerizing live performances which have secured them a No. 2 spot on the UK charts and pivotal late night performances in both the US and UK.
