Showcasing unique recordings produced at Easy Eye Sounds' Nashville studio, this portrayal of contemporary juke joint music captures a diverse array of voices curated by Dan Auerbach, the founder of Billboard's 2022 Blues Label of the Year.

Drawing inspiration from various facets of the blues genre, Tell Everybody! showcases accomplished artists such as R.L. Boyce from North Mississippi, Jimmy “Duck” Holmes from Betonia, and Leo “Bud” Welch, who brings the Delta gospel essence. This compilation also introduces emerging talents like the Moonrisers duo from Detroit, Gabe Carter from Chicago, and Nat Myers, a Korean-American hailing from Kentucky.

The title track, "Tell Everybody," spotlights the remarkable Louisiana singer-songwriter-guitarist Robert Finley, backed by Hill Country blues legends Kenny Brown (guitar), Eric Deaton (bass), and Kinney Kimbrough (drums).

Apart from curating Tell Everybody! Auerbach treats listeners to two unreleased tracks - one from the Black Keys ("No Lovin'"), and the other from his solo endeavors - "Every Chance I Get (I Want You In The Flesh)." Auerbach's presence also extends to the Arcs, a band where he collaborates with Joe Walsh in honoring the legacy of the late Ohio blues luminary Glenn Schwartz, who greatly influenced both Auerbach and Walsh. Together, they give a blues reinterpretation of "Daughter Of Zion" from Schwartz’s All Saved Freak Band.

The album also encompasses significant reinterpretations, including Jimmy “Duck” Holmes’ rendition of "Catfish Blues," originally recorded by Robert Petway in 1941 and later popularized by Muddy Waters, as well as Leo “Bud” Welch’s take on Reverend Oris Mays’ gem from the late 1960s, "Don’t Let The Devil Ride."

Above all, Tell Everybody! reinforces Easy Eye Sound’s commitment to preserving and honoring the blues, a central aspect of the label's mission since its establishment in 2017. Over the years, both the label and its founder have garnered multiple GRAMMY nominations, including Jimmy “Duck” Holmes’ nomination for Best Traditional Blues Album in 2020.
