Tommy Boy Record's …And You Don't Stop box set continues the celebration of hip hop’s 50th Anniversary, with an immersive experience that pays homage to the pioneers, the classics, and the everlasting influence of a culture that continues to resonate globally.

In a towering tribute to the genre that has helped shape music for five decades, ...And You Don't Stop - A Celebration Of 50 Years Of Hip Hop is a hefty six LP set celebrating the life and times of hip hop so far. This special collection features some of the legendary catalog's greatest hits from artists like Naughty By Nature, De La Soul, Digital Underground, and Queen Latifah, alongside hidden gems from G.L.O.B.E & Whiz Kid, Sweet Trio, and more.

Now available as a collector's dream vinyl box set, …And You Don't Stop boasts 50 carefully curated tracks spanning Tommy Boy's history, offering a marathon from foundational hip hop tunes of the 1980s to tracks that define the turn of the century. The compilation kicks off with the unveiling of the previously unreleased gem, "This Beat Is From The Bronx" by G.L.O.B.E. & Whiz Kid, serving as the project's inaugural single. A testament to the label's commitment to showcasing both the timeless classics and the hidden treasures within its extensive repertoire.

This collection goes beyond mere rapper’s delights, offering fans a deeper connection through biographical liner notes from veteran hip hop journalist and author Kathy Iandoli. This additional layer of storytelling enhances the listener's experience, shedding light on the historical significance and cultural impact of each track. Adding a visual dimension to the party, Tommy Boy has released new lyric videos for three iconic tracks - "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio, "Hip Hop Hooray" by Naughty By Nature, and "Ladies First" by Queen Latifah featuring Monie Love. These videos, available on Tommy Boy's YouTube Channel, invite fans to revel in the visual aesthetics that complement these hip hop anthems.

Collaborating with the Hip Hop Museum for this milestone release, Tommy Boy Music and its parent company Reservoir Media have infused philanthropy into the project. The vinyl box set includes a QR code enabling fans to make direct donations to the museum, further contributing to the preservation and celebration of hip hop culture.

Faith Newman, Reservoir Executive Vice President of A&R and Catalog Development, spearheaded the collaboration with The Hip Hop Museum. Newman's dedication to hip hop is reflected not only through her executive role but also as a Board member of the museum. She has contributed personal memorabilia for upcoming exhibitions and played a pivotal role in organizing the museum's Hip Hop's 50th Birthday Jam!, a free concert and block party event in Mill Pond Park in the Bronx, NY, held on August 11. Reflecting on the project, Newman expressed her excitement, stating, "As someone who has devoted my entire music career to hip hop, it means so much to celebrate this massive milestone for the genre. Even more, to bring together the Universal Hip Hop Museum and the historic songs of Tommy Boy to create this compilation is a once in a lifetime opportunity." She added, "I am utterly thrilled to help curate and share this music with hip hop fans everywhere."

The President of the Hip Hop Museum, Rocky Bucano, echoed the sentiment, stating, "The Universal Hip Hop Museum is proud to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the culture with this historic hip hop compilation from Tommy Boy Music." Acknowledging Tommy Boy's role as a legendary independent label that launched the careers of many hip hop icons, Bucano emphasized the significance of this collaboration in honoring the genre's rich history.
