Devon Allman joins forces with Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, and Sierra Green on Blues Summit, a hard-hitting, all-star tribute to the blues that shaped him.

Devon Allman may carry one of the most storied names in Southern rock, but he's never coasted on it. Instead, he's built a legacy of his own; one rooted in the blues, forged in collaboration, and fired by a relentless drive to keep the music moving forward. On Blues Summit, his latest release and one of his most ambitious to date, Allman assembles a formidable cast of blues luminaries for an album that feels less like a feature reel and more like a family reunion.

Blues Summit brings together Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, and Sierra Green, among others. These aren’t just guest spots however, they’re full-bodied performances that amplify the album’s core spirit: a shared love for the form, the fire, and the future of the blues. “It’s not about name-dropping,” Allman has said. “It’s about energy, heart, and the stories we tell when we come together.”

Devon Allman has been immersed in the world of blues and rock his entire life. As the son of the legendary Gregg Allman, he grew up surrounded by the rich musical legacy of the Allman Brothers Band, a group that played a pivotal role in shaping the Southern rock and blues sound. That influence runs deep — not as a shadow, but as a foundation. It’s evident in his dedication to the craft, his instinctive feel for the music, and his determination to evolve it without losing touch with its roots.

That spirit will hit the road this summer with the Blues Summit U.S. Tour, launching August 7 in Baton Rouge. Featuring an all-star lineup that includes Hall, McCray, and Green, the tour will snake its way across the country, culminating with a marquee performance at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival on September 12.

Born into the blues, Devon Allman has never been content to simply preserve the genre; he pushes it, bends it, and breathes new life into it. With Blues Summit, he reaffirms that the form is as vital as ever, and that its future, like its past, thrives in the hands of those who live it.
