Celebrating a decade of rock, the Dead Daisies have put together this collection which includes some of their favorite tracks plus two previously unreleased songs from their last recording session.

To celebrate their first decade, the Dead Daisies put together a collection of songs from their six studio albums. Best Of features some of the band's favorite tracks and others that have become a staple part of every Daisies set list. Two previously unreleased tracks from the last recording session are also included.

In an era where the echoes of classic rock seemed to be fading into obscurity, the Dead Daisies emerged to plant their flag in the fertile soil of '70s-style rock revival. The collective burst onto the scene a decade ago with a mission as audacious as it was compelling: to rekindle the flame of old-school rock ‘n’ roll, uniting virtuoso musicians from across the globe while injecting a much-needed dose of vintage fervor into the contemporary musical landscape.

Rooted in the ethos of the '70s and early '80s, the Dead Daisies' sonic signature is an amalgamation of influences that conjure the spirits of rock legends like Aerosmith, Bad Company, and Foreigner. Each composition is an intricately woven tapestry of soul-stirring vocals, blues-infused riffs, and anthemic choruses that harken back to the golden age of rock. It's a harmonious blend, albeit one that occasionally veers close to imitation, walking the fine line between homage and innovation.

Formed in 2013 under the guidance of guitarist extraordinaire David Lowy, the Dead Daisies embarked on a musical odyssey that has thus far yielded six studio albums, a live recording, and a captivating collection of covers. These auditory chapters, while resonating with a growing legion of global fans, also reflect the recurring theme of skepticism that shadows the rock genre's revival endeavors. Yet, the band's relentless commitment to their craft has sparked an enduring fascination, illustrating that the genre, despite recurrent proclamations of its demise, remains a pulsating force.

At the heart of band's narrative lies a rotating ensemble of rock luminaries. With each iteration of the lineup – featuring rockers like Doug Aldrich, John Corabi, Glenn Hughes, and others – the band's sound evolves, encompassing a mosaic of styles that imbue their music with both dynamism and occasional discord. This mutable assembly, while contributing to a diversified soundscape, also invites questions about a consistent and distinct artistic identity.

Over the past decade, they have etched memorable moments onto the annals of rock history. Sharing marquees with legendary acts the likes of Kiss, Guns N' Roses, and Aerosmith, and gracing hallowed stages at revered festivals including Download and Wacken, the band has carved a niche that is unarguably tangible. Notable instances such as their historic performance in post-embargo Cuba and their harmonious symphony with a 60-piece orchestra in Poland underscore the band's willingness to embrace diverse artistic avenues, revealing layers beneath the surface of their electrifying persona.
