The All-American Rejects return with Sandbox, their fifth studio album and the first full-length release to emerge from one of the most unconventional comebacks in recent memory.

Rather than launching a traditional tour, the band spent 2025 playing surprise pop-up shows in backyards, bowling alleys, skateparks, and other unlikely locations, connecting directly with fans through social media instead of the usual concert circuit. The grassroots approach quickly snowballed into one of the year's biggest music stories, culminating with a headlining performance at Warped Tour in Long Beach before more than 90,000 fans.

That same independent spirit runs through Sandbox. Recorded primarily at guitarist Nick Wheeler's Wheelhouse Studios and produced by Wheeler, vocalist Tyson Ritter, and keyboardist Scott Chesak, the album reflects a band working entirely on its own terms. Years of experience meet the sharp hooks and energetic songwriting that first made the All-American Rejects such a force on modern rock radio.

Formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in the late 1990s, the All-American Rejects broke through with a string of radio and MTV staples including "Swing, Swing," "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along," "It Ends Tonight," and "Gives You Hell." Along the way they sold more than 12 million albums worldwide, became one of the defining bands of the 2000s, and earned a reputation for arena-sized hooks and unforgettable choruses.
