Co-founder of the Bangles and one of pop music's premier interpreters, for The Deep End Susanna Hoffs partnered with legendary producer Peter Asher (James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, 10,000 Maniacs) to curate and record a collection of her favorite classic and contemporary pop songs.

Susanna Hoffs is one of the most instantly recognizable voices in music and her uncanny ability to make any song her own lifts these well-worn classics into new and enchanting places. Included on The Deep End are gems by the Rolling Stones and Squeeze, and newer songs by Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Joy Oladokum, and Brandy Clarke. Backing musicians on the record include legendary session players Leland Sklar, Waddy Wachtel, Dan Dugmore, Russ Kunkel, Albert Lee, plus vocalist Ledisi and string arranger Matthew Sheeran.

Susanna also recently released her first novel, This Bird Has Flown, a book about “sex, love, and rock & roll!” says the author.

A founding member of the Bangles, a solo artist, a collaborator, and now an author, Susanna Hoffs was born in Los Angeles into a creative family and grew up in the company of writers, thinkers, painters, and filmmakers with an ever-present soundtrack provided by the Beatles and other artists of the 1960s. As a young girl, she loved to sing and play guitar, going on to study theatre, dance, and art at University of California, Berkeley.
