Rochelle Jordan breaks through with Through The Wall, a 17-track masterclass in alt-R&B and electronic soul that finds the British-Canadian artist owning her power.

Rochelle Jordan has spent more than a decade shaping the pulse of underground R&B and electronic music, but with her new album Through The Wall, she's ready for her moment in the spotlight. The new 17-track collection bridges her signature mix of soulful sensuality and club-ready experimentation with a new level of confidence and control. Long a boundary breaker, Jordan now moves like an artist who knows exactly who she is and how far she has come to get here.

The Los Angeles-based British-Canadian artist has always lived at the crossroads of alt-R&B and electronic music, a sound she built alongside her longtime producer and creative partner KLSH. Together they've crafted a blend of house rhythms, DnB energy, and slow-burn grooves that feels both intimate and expansive. On Through The Wall, Jordan refines that alchemy. The songs move with restraint rather than urgency, creating a hypnotic sense of control.

Her rise comes with a sense of reflection and resilience. “My goal when I first started making music was to bring back something that would give me butterflies in my stomach,” Jordan says. “Something that would make my soul shine.” That spirit runs through the album’s highlights, from the title track “TTW,” co-produced by KLSH and Byron the Aquarius, to “Crave,” a dark and dazzling single produced by Chicago house legend Terry Hunter, known for his work with Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé.

Through The Wall is both metaphor and mission. It represents Jordan’s determination to push through fear, self-doubt, and creative limitations. Raised in Toronto by British-Jamaican parents, she grew up surrounded by music, often hearing her brother blast reggae, garage, gospel, and drum and bass through the walls. That eclectic foundation shaped her into the artist she is today. From her early projects R O J O and 1021 to 2021’s Play with the Changes, Jordan has built her catalog on experimentation and emotional depth.

The new album explores love, strength, healing, and self-affirmation through Jordan’s smooth yet commanding voice. With KLSH still at her side, she creates music that balances movement and emotion, inviting listeners to dance through their doubts and feel their way toward freedom.
