Motörhead's Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons come roaring back with a new singer and ferocious third album, Kings Of The Asylum.

Legendary Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell and his formidable band the Bastard Sons, composed of his actual sons alongside new vocalist Joel Peters, are back with a vengeance on Kings Of The Asylum.

Initially conceived as a side project during the twilight of Motörhead, the band's transformation into Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons was solidified with an announcement on the grand stage of Wacken Open Air in 2016. Soon after they released their self-titled debut EP, spearheaded by Campbell's proven guitar work and energized by the talents of his sons Todd, Tyla, and Dane. The band swiftly gained momentum, starting out with just some Motörhead covers but also some original tracks that showed great promise.

Their debut album, The Age Of Absurdity, arrived in 2018 to praise from the metal cognoscenti, even winning the Best Debut Album award at Metal Hammer Germany’s 2018 awards. Building on this success, their follow-up, We’re The Bastards, further elevated their stature, landing in the top 40 charts of four countries.

The recruitment of new powerhouse vocalist Joel Peters in 2022 started the next chapter for the band. Following a busy festival season that saw them rock stages at Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, and Graspop Metal Meeting, among others, the band turned their focus to making the new album, Kings Of The Asylum.

Kings Of The Asylum carries on from where We’re The Bastards left off, delivering eleven unapologetically heavy rock tracks. Among them are standout singles like the anthemic "Strike The Match," and the adrenaline-fueled headbanger "Too Much Is Never Enough." This album cements Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons' definitive sound – simple and timeless electrifying hard rock.

Campbell shares, “Writing this album alongside Joel and the rest of my lads has been an incredible experience. We’ve crafted monstrous riffs and hooks that will resonate with our fans.”

Peters chimes in, “Working on this album with Phil and the boys has been an absolute blast, and I couldn't be prouder of the result! I'm excited for everyone to hear it and for us to hit the road to perform these tracks for the first time. We've got some killer songs here!”

With their sights set on global stages, the band is ready to unleash their trademark style to rock enthusiasts everywhere.
