Liz Brasher's Baby Damn is a reminder that despite the challenges we face, hope remains a constant presence despite life's uncertainties.

Liz Brasher's sophomore album Baby Damn really shows her evolution as an artist as her vision comes to life with a bold yet intimate fervor. Recorded at the famous Sunset Sound studio with producer Joe Chiccarelli (My Morning Jacket, The Strokes, Morrissey) the album features an ensemble of top-tier musicians including Matt Chamberlain, Sean Hurley, Roger Manning, David Levita, Carl Broemel, Carmen Vandenberg, and Oliver Kraus.

Having signed with Blue Élan Records, Brasher arrived at Sunset Sound armed with a collection of demos, ready to breathe life into her solitary recordings. Drawing on the angst of her Memphis roots and the renewal she found in Southern California, she created a body of work that resonates with raw emotion and in-your-face honesty.

Baby Damn is a showcase for Brasher's songwriting growth and dynamic performances. Tracks like "Room To Ride" and "Be In California" exude a Western twang and nostalgic charm, reflecting the journey from Memphis to her newfound home on the West Coast. On Baby Damn, Brasher blends elements of soul, blues, and rock into a sound that is uniquely her own.

Beyond the studio, Brasher captures audiences with her powerhouse live performances, drawing from her diverse musical upbringing in Memphis and rural North Carolina. Her debut album, Painted Image, introduced listeners to her robust voice and impressive guitar playing that draw inspiration from a wide range of musical influences.
