NWOBHM stalwarts Lionheart return with The Grace Of A Dragonfly, their breathtaking follow-up to 2020's The Reality Of Miracles.

Following the success of their 2020 album The Reality Of Miracles, Lionheart hunkered down to create what would become their next opus, The Grace Of A Dragonfly.

In a departure from their previous works, the band, lead by Dennis Stratton (ex-Iron Maiden) and Steve Mann (Michael Schenker), made a bold decision to craft a concept album. They devoured World War II history and came up with an idea to transcend the typical war narrative, aspiring to make this a powerful anti-war statement while paying homage to those who valiantly fought for our freedom and those back home.

The album's compositions bear the emotional weight of Lee Small's poignant lyrics. Small skillfully captures the anguish and sorrow experienced by ordinary, innocent people in the throes of war, highlighting their indomitable strength, resilience, and unwavering determination. The band's signature songwriting prowess, complemented by soaring vocals, exquisite twin guitar harmonies, and atmospheric keyboards, illuminates each of the eleven tracks. The result is a manifestation of Lionheart's sheer musical power, culminating in a profound prayer for global peace.

With each album, Lionheart has consistently elevated their songwriting and production quality, and The Grace Of A Dragonfly is no exception.
