Four years after releasing The Last Viking, Leaves' Eyes celebrate their 20th anniversary with Myths Of Fate.

Led by Alexander Krull, Leaves' Eyes merges traditional metal genres with elements of folk, gothic, and classical music, creating a captivating sonic masterpiece which they have called Myths Of Fate.

Formed in 2003, Leaves' Eyes, under Krull's leadership, has consistently brought together diverse musical talents. The vocals of Finnish singer Elina Siirala, paired with the heavy guitars of Micki Richter and Luc Gebhardt, along with Joris Nijenhuis on drums, create a unique sound that seamlessly integrates folk metal, Viking metal, and symphonic metal.

The band is not just a musical entity however, they've established themselves as a top-tier multimedia band as well. Their high-quality music videos, directed by Krull, expand their storytelling into the visual realm. The band's connection with Viking re-enactment groups even resulted in the documentary film Viking Spirit in 2020. Known for their captivating live performances, Leaves' Eyes sets new standards with charismatic stage presentations against monumental backdrops.

Myths Of Fate sees Leaves' Eyes exploring new territories within symphonic metal. Inspired by Norse and Eastern European mythology, the album takes listeners on a journey into a fantastical world of legends. From the impactful "Forged By Fire" to the atmospheric "Realm Of Dark Waves," the band maintains their signature balance between heaviness and melodic atmosphere. The lyrical concepts delve into medieval mythology, offering a glimpse into the world of Vikings, myths, and sagas. The album successfully connects ancient tales with modern events, creating a bridge between the past and present.

As the album's producer, Krull, known for exceeding standards, crafted a clear and raw sound, providing an authentic live feel. Collaborating with Jonah Weingarten on the orchestral score adds depth to the metal arrangements.

Accompanied by five music videos filmed in Iceland, Germany, and Poland, Leaves' Eyes brings their myths to life visually. While the band's storytelling and musical prowess remain evident, the album invites listeners to escape into a world of mythology with a dynamic soundtrack.
