Kings Of Leon are back with their new album, and with it they ask the simple question at the heart of rock and roll… Can We Please Have Fun?

True to its title, Can We Please Have Fun shows Kings Of Leon's commitment to letting loose, exploring new avenues, and, above all, enjoying themselves along the way. Produced with Kid Harpoon, known for his work with Harry Styles and Florence + the Machine, the album is both an evolution and a return to the source for the band.

Back to their gritty roots while also embracing fresh sounds, Kings Of Leon have made a record that feels both familiar and groundbreaking. It's thanks to their unity of purpose, a manifestation of their collective vision set free from the shackles of expectation. According to the band, it's the album they've always dreamed of making. For frontman Caleb Followill, the recording process was a joyous revelation. "It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of," he reflects. The band's drummer, Nathan Followill, echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of musical vulnerability. "I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t have to be on 11," he remarks.

As they gear up for what promises to be a monumental year, Kings Of Leon are poised to remind people how they became one of the biggest rock bands in the US. With a bond forged through both music and family, the band is ready to conquer the world. "When you have a band, there’s a bond like no other, and when you have family, you have a bond like no other," Caleb muses. "We have both of those things. I thought, if we put all our energy toward something, who is gonna stop us? Who can stop us except us?"

With Can We Please Have Fun, Kings Of Leon want you to join them on a journey of unabashed enjoyment, a reminder of why we love rock music in the first place. It's a declaration of independence, a reaffirmation of their place in rock music, and a promise of even greater things to come.
