Crafted and created by the trio, Heavy MakeUp comprises 11 tracks that delve into a realm of musical experimentation, capturing their spontaneous and inquisitive approach to music-making. The trio utilize vocals, synthesizers, drum machines, and brass instruments to create this sonic journey.

This album marks their official maiden collaboration as a collective, following their initial collab when, in 2022, they worked together on "More and More," a project released under the banner of Camerieri and Hagen's venture, CARM. Encouraged by their collaborative chemistry from that experience, Brickell, Camerieri, and Hagen embarked on a three-day creative exploration, during which they engaged in improvisational sessions that would ultimately serve as the foundation for Heavy MakeUp.
