Southern California’s GUNNAR releases his debut album, Best Mistake. It was produced by the legendary Brendan O’Brien (Pearl Jam, The Killers, Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against The Machine).

Twenty-one-year-old singer/songwriter GUNNAR was just a kid when he discovered his life’s purpose: delivering the kind of electrifying live show that leaves audiences enraptured. He began playing guitar at age seven and as a teenager embarked on his first U.S. tour, gaining a fast audience and the attention of pop mogul Scooter Braun who began managing him at age 16. With touring halted in 2020 and GUNNAR feeling a sense of artistic disillusionment - he set out to find his voice as a songwriter, eventually writing nearly 100 songs rooted in his explosive guitar work.

When those demos caught the attention of Grammy Award-winning producer Brendan O’Brien (AC/DC, Pearl Jam, The Killers), GUNNAR headed into the studio to create his full-length debut, Best Mistake. Produced by O’Brien at the legendary Henson Recording Studios, Best Mistake encompasses a guitar-heavy sound echoing the eclectic mix of influences that form GUNNAR’s musical DNA (’90s alt-rock, mid-aughts garage rock, singer-songwriters and classic country). Already well on his way to rock stardom GUNNAR has amassed 22M global streams of his music to date, 5.7M Youtube plays and 48M TikTok plays with a following of over 250,000 fans on the platform.
