Fu Manchu’s The Return Of… Live captures the thunder of their 2024 world tour, delivering nine heavy, fuzz-fueled performances that span fan favorites and new tracks alike.

Fu Manchu’s live power finally gets captured again on The Return Of… Live, their first official concert album in 20 years. Recorded across their 2024 The Return of Tomorrow world tour, the album captures the raw heat of the California band’s signature fuzz-drenched sound as they tear through old favorites like “Eatin’ Dust” and “Hell On Wheels” alongside new cuts such as “Loch Ness Wrecking Machine,” “Hands of the Zodiac,” and the title track.

Frontman and founder Scott Hill says, “These 9 songs were recorded during our 2024 The Return Of Tomorrow UK and European tour. We had a great time at all of the shows and the crowds were amazing. We’ve been lucky enough to tour for the past 35 years, and the songs on this album are some of our favorite old ones and new ones.” Mixed by longtime collaborator Jim Monroe and mastered by Carl Saff, The Return Of… Live radiates the same relentless energy that has made Fu Manchu one of the most respected names in stoner rock.

Formed in Orange County, California in 1985, Fu Manchu helped define the Palm Desert scene alongside Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, and Mondo Generator. Decades later, Hill, Brad Davis, Bob Balch, and Scott Reeder continue to uphold their legacy as, in the words of Monster Riff, “one of the most loved and revered bands in the stoner rock world.”
