Duff McKagan’s Lighthouse: Live From London captures the Guns N’ Roses legend in peak form, tearing through career highlights and raw covers with his powerhouse band and special guest Steve Jones.
Duff McKagan’s Lighthouse: Live From London captures the raw electricity of a night that reaffirmed why he remains one of rock’s most enduring figures. Recorded at a sold-out Islington Assembly Hall on October 5, 2024, the album delivers 19 blazing performances that span McKagan’s decades-long career, from the introspective "Lighthouse" and "I Saw God On 10th St." to raucous covers of "I Fought The Law," "I Wanna Be Your Dog," and the Guns N’ Roses staple "You’re Crazy."
Joined by his powerhouse band: Tim DiJulio, Jeff Fielder, Mike Squires, and Michael Musburger, McKagan brings intensity and heart to every song. The live sound, captured and mixed by longtime collaborator Martin Feveyear, gives each track a striking immediacy, revealing both the grit and grace in his songwriting. Among the standouts is "Longfeather," which takes on new emotional depth in front of the London crowd.
A highlight of the night comes when Sex Pistols legend Steve Jones steps on stage. The two friends and former Neurotic Outsiders bandmates tear into Johnny Thunders’ "Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory" and close with a stirring version of Bowie’s "Heroes," sealing the show with an unforgettable sense of camaraderie and rock history.
