New album PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE was written, performed, and produced by Christine and the Queens with co-production by Mike Dean (Lana Del Rey, Beyonce), and features guest appearances from Madonna and 070 Shake.

“True love,” the recent single from PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOV, is a hauntingly beautiful plea to the angel of light to “take me higher,” and follows the album’s debut single “To Be Honest,“ which was selected by Clara Amfo on BBC Radio 1 as her Hottest Record In The World and deemed “electrifying” by Pitchfork and “glowing” by The Guardian. Other tracks like “A Day In The Water” and “Tears Can Be So Soft” come across like a modern-day Julee Cruise and wouldn’t sound out of place in a future version of Twin Peaks. Both subdued yet driving, “A Day In The Water” floats along like a river of song, taking you deeper and deeper until you’re hooked by the melody that you didn’t realize you were humming along to. Meanwhile, “Tears Can Be So Soft,” a song about missing people, really hits the mark for anyone who has lost someone and reminds you to embrace them while you can.

Christine and the Queens curated the celebrated Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre between June 9-18, closing the festival with two sold-out headline performances. He will also be performing at several prestigious festivals worldwide including Glastonbury, Primavera in Barcelona and Madrid, and headline slots at Roskilde in Denmark, Wilderness in the UK in addition to his official UK tour across September.

Christine and the Queens is the stage name of French singer-songwriter Héloïse Letissier, who released his debut EP Miséricorde in 2011 under the name Christine but by 2014 had extended the name to Christine and the Queens and released the debut studio album, Chaleur Humaine. Christine and the Queens has since gone on to become one of France's most successful music artists around the globe, receiving critical acclaim and several awards.
