Bullet fire back on Kickstarter, cranking up traditional heavy metal with roaring guitars, unbreakable spirit, and a Swedish drive that refuses to stall after twenty five years.

Bullet return in 2026 with Kickstarter, a full-throttle salute to classic heavy metal that hits with the sweat and stubborn road-warrior spirit that has kept this Swedish band roaring since 2001. It's arrival comes seven years after their last studio album Dust To Gold, proving Bullet never left the fight. They just took the long route back to the highway.

Frontman Dag “Hell” Hofer leads the charge alongside guitarists Hampus Klang and newest addition Freddie Johansson, backed by bassist Gustav Hector and drummer Gustav Hjortsjö. Together they double down on the mission that started in autumn 2001. Play traditional heavy metal built on late seventies and early eighties sincerity. Solid riffs, classic tones, denim, leather, and zero interest in chasing trends. With Kickstarter and the singles “Kickstarter,” “Keep Rolling,” and “Chained By Metal,” Bullet stay locked in that time-tested lane where AC/DC, Accept, and Judas Priest still rule.

Bullet’s story goes back to Klang teaming with Hofer and Lenny Blade, joining forces with Hjortsjö and Erik Almström out of Sweden’s thrash scene. Their early demo "Heavy Metal Highway" in 2002 and the 2003 EP Speeding In The Night caught attention fast, not just for the sound, but for the whole aesthetic. Old tour bus, old motorcycles, old-school metal mindset. They treated style and sound as one unified blast of energy.

In 2006 they released their debut Heading For The Top. Two years later Bite The Bullet pushed their popularity high enough to land them an opening slot for AC/DC at the massive Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg. Tours with Sabaton, Hammerfall, and Backyard Babies followed. Lineup changes came too, including a priceless moment when new bassist Adam Hector admitted he did not know how to play bass. Hampus responded with, “C´mon, a monkey can play bass in Bullet!” It was never about virtuosity. It was always about loyalty and attitude.

Over the next decade, Bullet hit Japan and Europe regularly, released Highway Pirates, Full Pull, and Storm Of Blades, Dust To Gold and the live album Live. Pandemic setbacks slowed touring, but not momentum. Bullet appeared on German TV and tore up festivals from Wacken to Graspop, Sweden Rock, Sonisphere, Rock Am Ring, Keep It True, and far more stages than a band obsessed with touring buses would ever bother to count.

Now Kickstarter arrives as both a nod to twenty-five years and a promise that Bullet’s story is still climbing uphill with the throttle wide open. Metal this unbending never fades. It revs louder.
