Inspired by musical luminaries from Diana Ross to Dolly Parton, and influenced by contemporary legends from Beyoncé to Sade, Britti's debut album Hello, I'm Britti. is one of immense gravity and a personal love letter to the place she calls home.

Britti, a true heiress of New Orleans' rich musical history, emerges as a captivating new voice on her debut album, Hello, I'm Britti. Co-written and produced by Dan Auerbach, the album reflects Britti's spirit - fresh, wondrous, and deeply rooted in her heritage. From dreaming of being discovered while working at a music store in the Crescent City, to the serendipitous collaboration with Auerbach, Britti's journey is filled with pixie dust, mirroring the enchanting quality of her music.

Born Brittany Guerin, professionally known as Britti, the artist always had a passion for singing, starting before she could even talk. Raised by her mother and grandmother, whom she fondly refers to as "brown sugar and cayenne pepper," Britti continued to nurture her talent through school chorus, church choir, and various performances. Despite earning a degree in music performance, she found herself stuck in a retail job, deferring her dreams.

It took a broken heart and a pandemic-induced furlough to propel Britti towards self-discovery. During this time, she embraced her creativity, bought her dream guitar, and began writing songs. Treating herself as a business, she posted videos regularly, showcasing her talent. Despite facing challenges and discouragement, Britti persisted, covering songs and building her self-confidence.

The turning point came when she covered Dan Auerbach's song "Whispered Words (Pretty Lies)." A video of her performance caught Auerbach's attention, leading to a meeting in Nashville. Their musical connection was instant, and they began writing songs together. Auerbach assembled a talented group of musicians, and the album quickly took shape.

Despite being a newcomer, Britti's deep musical roots and Auerbach's guidance resulted in a remarkable debut. The album reflects her diverse musical influences, from R&B and blues to Zydeco and Motown. Britti's journey from behind the music store counter to a debut album symbolizes a dream fulfilled, proving that believing in oneself can lead to unexpected and magical opportunities.
