With tracks pulled from Blue Mair's Swans In July and MARKETPLACE's Man From Cairo, ITI Records' new collection, The Best Of Blue Mair & Marketplace is a smooth jazz/fusion blast from the past.
Hailing from the Los Angeles area, Blue Mair and MARKETPLACE proved to be radio friendly in the late '80s into the early '90s. Each member went on to other credited careers in the music industry. These tracks and albums are their only ones ever recorded.
All compositions were created by Tom Zink and Melvin Davis for MARKETPLACE, and by Bob Mair and Frankie Blue for Blue Mair.
