It's been 20 years since Ben Kweller's cult-classic album, Sha Sha, took the indie world by storm. And today the "Sundress" singer is releasing an anniversary edition entitled, Sha Sha Deluxe. Now Kwellerheadz can immerse themselves in remastered nostalgia plus 22 demos, B-sides, live recordings, and other rarities never before released to the public. The quadruple gatefold includes 75 archival photos and in-depth liner notes written by BK recounting the tale of how Sha Sha came to be. The first single, a cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' "Today," was recorded while on tour with The Strokes in 2003. Another unearthed rarity is "I Have The Power." This Slacker-core gem was recorded by Bryce Goggin (Pavement, Lemonheads) back in 2001 when BK was coming up in NYC with The Strokes and Moldy Peaches.

Sha Sha Deluxe is available as a 3LP vinyl set now and coming soon on CD as well as a USB Toothbrush (Yes, a red toothbrush that you plug into your computer), just like the one Ben is brushing his pearly whites with on the original album cover.

Ben Kweller's Sha Sha is considered one of the great Alternative debuts of the early 2000s and was voted one of the top 50 albums of 2002 by Rolling Stone.
