ITI Records is excited to present Revisited, a collection of long-lost country-rock songs from Art Johnson and the Last Chance Band, a record inspired by the music coming out of California in the late '60’s and early '70s.

Originally a trio called Rosebud, Art Johnson (guitar and violin), Lynn Blessing (vibes and piano), and Bill Plummer (bass), played mostly originals of the '70s California country rock variety while gigging at the Sundance Saloon in Calabasas, California.

After meeting up with guitarist Marc McClure and former Byrds drummer Kevin Kelley, the trio formed a new band named Last Chance. Like Rosebud, this new group continued their Thursday nights at the Sundance Saloon in addition to performing at the Ash Grove in Hollywood.

The group also has the distinction of being the backing band on Judee Sill's final recording, an expected third record for Asylum Records recorded in 1974 that wasn’t completed or released until 2005, when Water Records released it as Dreams Come True.
