Shawn Colvin - Uncovered

On her new Fantasy Records album Uncovered, acclaimed singer/songwriter Shawn Colvin shines with sublime sensitivity, casting new light on an exquisitely curated collection of songs from some of the most admired writers in popular music history. Uncovered's twelve tracks include interpretations of songs by Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Tom Waits, Stevie Wonder, Robbie Robertson, Graham Nash and more, but in their selection and delivery, they are pure Shawn Colvin. Uncovered was produced by Steuart Smith, and Colvin has been tapped to open Don Henley’s fall tour, with Steuart playing in both bands. The new album follows Shawn’s previous all-covers album, the critically acclaimed Cover Girl, released in the early ‘90s.
