Just Friends: Live At The Village Vanguard is a previously unreleased recording of pianist Roger Kellaway (Sonny Rollins, Wes Montgomery, Oliver Nelson) and clarinetist Eddie Daniels (Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra, Bob James) captured live at the iconic Greenwich Village jazz club the Village Vanguard on November 26, 1988 by engineer and Resonance Records founder George Klabin. Featuring the stellar rhythm section of bassist Buster Williams and drummer Al Foster, Just Friends is an intimate, lyrical journey through original compositions by Roger Kellaway and Eddie Daniels, plus the jazz standard ballad “Just Friends.”
