Brighter Days is JJ Grey's first-ever live release. The 12-song CD features fan favorites 'Lochloosa,' 'The Sun Is Shining Down,' the title track and more. Two-hour DVD, directed by filmmaker/musician Spookie Daly, includes all songs on the CD, plus three more, and includes revealing interview and studio vignettes woven between the songs. Shot in stunning HD and 5.1 surround sound on January 22, 2011 at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Brighter Days perfectly captures Grey's power as a performer and writer, as well as the talent of his heavy-hitting band Mofro. Singing and telling stories with preacher-like conviction, JJ breaks down the wall between the audience and the performer.
