  Charlie Musselwhite

   The Well

The Well

The legendary harp master returns to his blues roots on Alligator Records. The Well features all original songs that look back on hard times and personal healing. 'Dig The Pain' recalls his drinking days, while 'The Well' tells of his recovery. The most poignant song on the album, 'Sad And Beautiful World,' features Charlie's close friend, legendary vocalist Mavis Staples. Inducted into the Blues Foundation's Blues Hall Of Fame in 2010, Charlie has been nominated for six Grammy Awards and has won 24 Blues Music Awards. The Well is Charlie Musselwhite at his very best.
