Scottish rock band Mogwai is releasing their first official live concert film release, Burning, with accompanying live album Special Moves. The film, directed by Vincent Moon and Nathanael Le Scouarnac of La Blogotheque's Take-Away Shows, was shot at the band's sold-out three-night residency at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg in April 2009. The 45-minute film presents itself as a modern urban noir thriller, Moon and Le Scouarnec call their film an 'experience of the senses... a lifetime of feelings in just one night.'

'Burning... chronicles the wig-blowing sonic blast that is Mogwai live.' - Pitchfork
