Formerly of the band Spirit, Staehely Brothers' rich history dates back to the 1970s era of classic rock. Al Staehely joined Spirit as frontman, bass player, and principal songwriter. In 1973, the Brothers released their debut record, STA-HAY-LEE, under Epic Records. Al released a solo album under Polydor records, Staehely's Comet, in 1982 which was reissued in 2011 by SteadyBoy Records under the name Al Staehely & 10K Hrs. The brothers performed on stages globally - including a headlining show at Carnegie Hall - and have collaborated with acclaimed artists, including Keith Moon (The Who), Marty Balin and Pete Sears (Jefferson Airplane), Peter Cox (Go West), and The Nick Gravenites/John Cipollina Band.
